Join us for a tribute concert to celebrate the life and music of vocalese master Jon Hendricks at Dazzle at Baur\'s at 6 PM on Saturday October 16th. Jon Hendricks is one of the fathers and masters of scat and vocalese styles. Hendrick’s innovative vocalese style and his creativity, tenacity and inventiveness have set him apart as one of the best vocalists in jazz history. As Al Jarreau says Jon Hendricks is “pound-for-pound the best jazz singer on the planet—maybe that’s ever been.” Local vocalist and cabaret singer, Leonard Barrett Jr. will help us pay tribute to Hendricks with an incredible band of local jazz musicians featuring pianist Jeff Jenkins, bassist Mark Simon and drummer Michael D\'Angelo.
