Join Bob Briggs, former Colorado Carnation grower, in his program about the history of the Colorado Flower Growers Association, how the CFGA reinvested and researched the growing of carnations in Colorado, and how the War on Drugs led to the demise of this cash crop. Bob was hired by Frank Galasso to replace the glass in his carnation producing greenhouse during the summer of 1953 following a May hailstorm. Bob was a sophomore at Westminster High School. This started his nearly 70-year career with Colorado Carnations.
