If you want to become a Buddhist, this is the formal gateway to the Buddhist path. If you are simply seeking wisdom and inspiration on your spiritual journey, it brings the blessings and protection of the Three Jewels into your quest. It also serves as a powerful method to purify a lot of negative karma and create huge good karma.
