Facilitator: Katie Rose Wall, Principal Facilitator, 4th Wall Facilitation Description: Often, when you are "on" all the time, there isn't time to be intentional with your responses, especially in moments of conflict when you are merely just trying to survive. Through play for a purpose, experiential-based activities, and small group conversations, this workshop will provide an opportunity to build community, connection, empathy and learn best practices from each other. We will brainstorm what works and what doesn't work when it comes to conflict, how to help yourselves and your colleagues when burnout inevitably happens, put some strategies into practice, and learn some new games and activities in the process. Takeaways: An understanding the signs and symptoms of "burn out" and the ways it shows up at work and at home Evidence-based strategies to help alleviate symptoms of "burn out" Strategies to help with conflict at work (and an opportunity to practice) Stronger connections to colleagues to use as resources when all else fails   Session Style: Interactive workshop Recommended for: Managers or site leads; Organization leadership (Executive Directors, CEOs, Supervisors); Experienced youth developers only
