The Central Business District has been historically dominated by eighties built office product that catered towards law, oil & gas, and financial service firms. In this past cycle Denver has seen strong in-migration, numerous corporate headquarter relocations, and a competitive jobs market focused on hiring and retaining top talent. These economic drivers paved way for the development of best-in-class office projects such as 1144 Fifteenth, 1401 Lawrence, Prism, Triangle Building, and Block 162. These projects have changed the way real estate investors, prospective tenants, and other real estate related roles view the Downtown Denver office market.   The CUREC Alumni group will start the tour at Prism (999 17th Street), a recently completed, Class-A, ~112,000 SF office development by Shea Properties. Prism features a 14-foot glass curtain wall with five diagonal folds which create dramatically angled planes that reflect the sky, offer incredible perspectives and spectacular views of the Denver skyline.   Following Prism we will visit some more projects TBD and end with a happy hour.
