No, The River Inn is a cashless hotel and requires an EMV (chip and pin) credit card with matching photo ID at check-in. EMV debit cards are also accepted with an authorization hold greater than the estimated total of the stay.

You must be at least 21 years old to check in at The River Inn.

Can I park my vehicle at The River Inn?

Yes, valet parking is available for $55/day, inclusive of tax. Seasonal parking packages are also available for guests staying longer than one night.

Studio Queen rooms & King Suites can accommodate up to 4 guests, while Double Suites can hold up to 6 guests.

Are there any additional fees charged to your credit card at The River Inn?

Yes, your credit card will be authorized for room and tax (15.95%), plus $150 per room for incidentals, which is returned at check-out if not used.

Yes, pets are welcome at The River Inn, which is also close to dog-friendly parks and paths in Washington DC.

Is there a pet fee?

No. We do not charge a pet fee.

Are there breed restrictions?

No breed restrictions. We simply ask that all dogs are well behaved and under their owner’s supervision at all times.

Can I leave my dog unattended in the room?

Yes. Dogs may be left in the room provided they are comfortable being alone and do not cause excessive noise or disturbance to other guests.

How many dogs can I bring?

We are flexible and understand that pets are family. While we do not have a strict number limit, we ask that pets are well behaved and that you notify us in advance of your arrival.
